ADULTS 18 PLUS                                    MONTHLY FEE $40.00 per month

 

ALL MEMBERS MUST BELONG TO JUDO B.C. / CANADA                         Annual Membership $85.00 per year.

 

 

PAYMENT: 

 

PAYMENT OF FEES ARE PAYABLE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH TERM or SESSION.

Depending on your age group, payment must include the fees for 3 months and Judo B.C. Annual Membership fee of $85.00 if you have not paid it for the Current Year.

 

E TRANSFER payment is to which is the preferable method of payment.

ALL Fees are collected in FULL at the beginning of each semester.

Christmas Party December 9, 2018

Thanks to all  of the members and family who attended our Christmas Party on Sunday . It was a wonderful gathering to socialize with  parents which does not happen during our regular practice sessions.

This year we had 43 people at our Party. Since it was our 50^th Anniversary, we had our members decorate the room .

I showed photos on the Projector  while speaking  about the history of our Dojo.

Jim Chen , our Friday instructor, made a special presentation to Jaime Wong for his outstanding performance at the Abbotsford tournament.

The food that was brought to the party was delicious.  There was hardly any food left for the late comers.

I want to thank Romain Chappaz, who moved to Logan Lake a couple of years ago, for the NAKASHIMA DOJO CHRISTMAS CAKE that he donates every year.

Peter Kolar is 2018 Veteran World Champion under 81 kg

Peter Kolar, member of our Dojo, recently won the 81 kg division  at the World's Veteran Judo Championship in Cancun, Mexico.

Congratulations to Peter for a well deserved victory and his dedication to our Sport

RESULTS FROM THE ABBOTSFORD TOURNAMENT OCTOBER 27,2018

We had 10 members from our Dojo  participate at todays’ Interclub Shiai in Abbotsford.  There were close to 125 Judokas at today’s tournament.

For  Briton, Phoenix,and Skylar Lee, Ryan Liu, and Sierra Marsh, this was their first tournament that they participated.

This was a valuable learning experience which will surely improve their Judo Skills.

Jaime Wong took first place in U16 division. He won his matches with Ippon throws in the Round Robin format.

Sierra Marsh won first place in U18 division with 2 Ippon wins as well. 

Lawren Wong, Matteo Salulusti, Briton, Phoenix, Skylar, Kelvin Cui, Ryan and James Chow 
all received the bronze.
